Take Your Pet to Work Week is a week where dog parents all come together to share their pets with the world. It is an opportunity to bring your dog to your place of work so they can meet your coworkers and their fuzzy companions. It’s a great opportunity to help your pet get lots of pets from all kinds of new people. Celebrated from June 20 to June 24, this fluffy holiday is always a blast.

During this week, there are two notable dates. The first is Take Your Cat to Work Day, which can be enjoyed on June 20th. Pawrents of feline companions will find that this is an opportunity to get them out to explore the world.

The second date is June 24th, which is Take Your Dog to Work Day. Designated as the day where pups can run free in the office (or at least can stay safely on a leash while you work), this is a day full of love, joy, and lots of zoomies!

Though you might think that this special week is just about spending more time with your pets, that isn’t totally true. This week is designed to highlight the importance of adopting pets and was made to increase pet adoptions. Pet rescue organizations encourage dog parents to share their furbabies with everyone around the office to remind their coworkers just how special pets can be.

10 Instagram Outfits that Your Dog Would Look Amazing in

Do we like the tie? Too much?

Instagram has a lot to show us, but it is a known fact that it is a space where the more fashionable among us can thrive. The Instagram fashion scene is amazing, with humans and pets alike posting to show us their outfits—and the doggy fashion on the app is enough to make anyone melt into a puddle. From simple and cute to modern and chic, pets are starting to dress better than we do, and we absolutely love it!

10. The Classic Bow Tie with Pixel

Before we jump into the more adventurous examples of doggy fashion, it is important to start with the classics. Aussie and adorable fluffmaster, Pixel, was spotted wearing this adorable bow tie that we just can’t get enough of.

Pixel’s bow tie is a fun little pattern with different colors, and this is really just one example of this accessory. A bow tie is an excellent way for your pup to fit in with a business casual dress code, and they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Whether you’re looking for a classy neutral color so your dog can match you or you decide to go all out with a fancy design, you can always find something that works with this classic accessory!

9. A Casual Hoodie with Jett

Jett, described online as the “cutest monkey dog ever”, is one seriously cute pooch who has perfected casual fashion. If you are working somewhere that is a little more laid back with the dress code, a simple hoodie is a great way to go.

A good dog hoodie can help everyone to see how casual and fun your pup really is—and the possibilities are endless here. Dogs can find hoodies that accommodate all body sizes and fur colors, making them a versatile option. Show everyone just how cool your furbaby is with this fun fashion choice.

8. The Button-Down with Bonnie

Loving Boston Terrier, Bonnie, is one pup who never shies away from big fashion. In this outfit, she is bringing together business casual with an adorable fashion twist. Showing that dogs can dress up just like the rest of us, she shows just how versatile a good button-down shirt can be.

We love this because we think it highlights the full spectrum of doggy button-down fashion. While Bonnie chose a bright shirt and a vibrant pattern, dogs that are a little more serious can choose to go with a more neutral design instead. The important part is that your dog will look fabulous, no matter what pattern you choose!

7. Sports Legend Chic with King Stitch

Depending on the vibe of your office, you might have a little more freedom with your dog’s dress code. For those dogs who can embrace streetwear at work, this legendary outfit is the perfect fit. Stylish dogs with big personalities will love to show off their looks.

The real magic here is the color combination that King Stitch is bringing to the table. The shirt, the shoes—it all works, and we absolutely love it. You can find your dog fashion items that suit their preferred team, but no matter what you choose, this is guaranteed to be a hit. People will be fawning over your pup all day if you go all out like this!

6. Accessories for the Win with Lady

While full-on fashion is all well and good, some dogs know that the best fashion is made with accessories. In this post, Lady is bringing together the perfect color-matched look with some seriously cute accessories—a chic headband and one seriously adorable collar that is more of a doggy necklace.

Though your furbaby might not want to mimic Lady’s exact look, we believe that the spirit of this look will inspire pups for generations. Using color-matching fashion to create a seriously cute look is something that every pup should know how to do—at least with the help of their dog parents. Remember, a few combined accessories can completely change how your dog looks and feels!

5. The Devil Wears Pawda with Bear

Pets make wonderful companions, but it gets a little bit better when they also steal the spotlight with their fashion choices. Fashionista and furbaby, Bear, is known to push the limits with her fashion choices, and this look makes her look like the CEO of a furry fashion organization. Bringing together a seriously cute outfit with accessories, this is one look that just keeps serving.

We believe that there is a lot for pets to learn from this overt display of pawsitively adorable fashion. Bear isn’t afraid to go the extra mile and show us just how amazing she can look. With the right fashion choices, your pup can put anyone at your work to shame. We encourage all dog parents to help their dogs explore their individual and bold doggy style, no matter what that looks like!

4. Classy Fandom with Marni

We all have books, movies, tv shows, and games that are so important to us. For Miss Marni, there is always a lesson to learn from Winnie the Pooh. This seriously cute outfit blends classy fashion with a touch of fandom for a look that we just cannot get enough of.

Marni is bringing an amazing lesson with this outfit. She is posing in a classic sweater that is neutral and downplayed, but she dresses it up with a seriously cute bow that perfectly matches her color scheme. The best part? The subtle Winnie the Pooh print that you could almost miss if you aren’t looking. Who says you can’t look professional and show your love for a fandom at the same time?

3. Bold Fashion with Ollie

Fashion-forward pooch, Ollie, is known to serve up looks, and this outfit is no exception. Perfect for professional and casual environments alike, this full outfit is great for highlighting the bold and dignified personality of the right dog. Combining a turtleneck, fashion collar, and some seriously amazing glasses, this look is hard to beat.

The real charm behind this outfit is not just the incredible pieces that it is made of, but the clearly defined color scheme. Showing different shades of blue, Ollie has created a bold look with the help of his pawrents that we just can’t get enough of. He encourages all pups to look deep within and find that bold fashion look that will define them!

2. Stealing Hearts with Apple

Apple is one adorable pooch who likes to have a little more fun with her fashion choices, and we’re pretty sure that anyone at your job would fawn over this outfit. As cute as it is comfortable, this soft and fuzzy look is understated enough to not be too silly but adorable enough to guarantee nonstop attention.

Workplaces that don’t mind dogs who emphasize comfort give dog parents plenty of opportunities when choosing outfits for pups. This seriously cute hoodie is comfortable, ensuring that your pup can stay cozy all day long. It is a great way to avoid slowly deconstructing your dog’s outfit throughout the day to keep them comfortable. As a bonus, it is adorable.

1. The Full Princess with Pepper

While some dogs are cool and casual, others demand attention—and pets. Pepper is one dog who is always happy to show her true princess personality, and she doesn’t care what anyone says! Known for her bold looks with frilly dresses, she shows dogs how to dazzle any audience and let their inner royalty show!

Dog lovers love all dog fashion, but there is no denying that Pepper is going the extra mile with this iconic look. Dressed up and seriously adorable, she is not afraid to be extra in the slightest. If you have a pup that is a prince or princess and totally knows it, finding this kind of luxury doggy fashion might just be exactly what they need!

Beautiful and remarkable in every way!

While doggy fashion is cute and fun, it is important to remember that the goal of this week really is to promote pet adoptions. Fortunately, you can invest in doggy fashion that is going to support pets in need. There are two ways that dog parents can contribute.

The first way to help support pets is to help maximize your pet’s cuteness. When you put your pup in a seriously cute outfit and allow them to visit with your coworkers and customers, you will find that people will fall in love. Sometimes, all it takes is a cute little bow and some puppy kisses to help someone decide to go adopt a furry friend of their very own. Pets increase our health and happiness, and it helps when they do it while wearing cute little outfits.

Beyond simply showing off just how cute your pet can be, it can also be beneficial to shop with brands that partner with pet rescue organizations. When you shop in our store, a portion of the proceeds always goes towards helping pets in need.

We have partnered directly with Hope for Paws, an organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned animals—like our very own Willow. These amazing people workday and night to ensure that pets are taken care of and can find access to loving homes. They find foster dog parents and help pets to get adopted every single day!
